通过叉形箱体，一个中间箱就能完成灭茬、旋耕两根轴的传动。较传统双轴机少了侧传动装置和侧边箱，减少了动力消耗，结构简单耐用，模数10齿轮，强度高，可承受特大马力拖拉机的负荷。
