This Kiefel Cart, so called, because it services a Kiefel Mold Machine, was built for a tier-one auto parts manufacturer. The unit is rated at 2,200 pounds capacity. The molds are on 42” x 42” back plates and are horizontally split. Because the mold has to be inserted into the machine split （because the material feed system is in the way）, this unit has a lower and upper deck to handle each half of the mold. The upper deck has vertical travel that is independent of the main mast in order to separate the molds or to put them back together. Both decks have a hydraulically powered mold transfer system. The mold decks are attached to a battery powered walk-behind power head.
